Policies and processes exist to recruit teachers from abroad and to recruit college educated career changers to meet this need in most states in the US Unisant USA will create a program to recruit and qualify non-US teachers and non-US college graduates to come to the US to teach. Recruiting will focus on Mexico, but will also extend to countries that Universidad Santander has a presence 

Nurses

There is a severe nursing shortage in the US. It is projected that there will be 250,000 to 4000,00 open nursing positions in the US

In order to get a nursing license in the US, a Mexican nurse needs to demonstrate they have graduated from an equivalent nursing school in Mexico at the bachelors degree level or higher, pass the national licensing exam for nurses, pass the TOEFL, and pass a background check.

Adelante Education Group has a process to recruit and prepare Mexican nurses to get licensed in the US. Mexican nurses are eligible for the TN visa.

Truck Drivers

There is a severe truck driver shortage in the US. There is an estimated 80,000 open driver positions in the US, caused by:  

• demographics – Age and Gender, the average age of the heavy-goods vehicle driver is 53  and nearing retirement    
• the truck driver lifestyle  
• training and testing for truck drivers stalled during Covid-19 lockdowns
• trucker wages have been shrinking for years

In order to obtain a commercial driver license in the US, truck drivers need, among other requirements, to 

• Be above 20 years of age
• Pass the license exam
• graduate from FMCSA approved school, 
• Get registered by school 
• speak English, 
• Pass a background check  
• Pass a DOT drug screen  
• Pass a DOT physical examination 
• have a work visa, and 
• have a US residence 

Adelante Education Group will partner with an FMCSA approved school to recruit and train US truck drivers from Mexico, Latin America, China, and Spain.
